Markus Nee

Bass Guitar, Double Bass, Vocals, Electric Guitar

Markus joined North in March 1996 as a sound engineer for the Play the Muse soundtrack project. In May 1997, Markus became North's bass guitarist and second full-time member. He occasionally adds guitar and backing vocals, and is also good at making seagull squawking sound effects on an upright bass.

In addition to making music, Markus likes to read, write, play outdoors, draw pictures, build things, disassemble things, race bicycles, explore the world, and ponder the mysteries of life and the universe.

He also has elf ears.
