Play the Muse - the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (1996)

In April of 1996, North scored and produced nearly all of the musical content for Play the Muse, a Tiger Panda Film directed by student filmmaker Jonathan Appel. Play the Muse, debuting on April 23, 1996, was the first full-length feature film to come out of the University of Michigan's facilities in roughly a decade, and represents the first such feature to be completed by an undergraduate.

In September of 1996, the Play the Muse Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was independently produced by Tiger Panda Productions. This represents North's first release on Compact Disc, and the disc's distribution at the 1996 International Feature Film Market in New York City marked North's professional film industry debut.
